About our Simple Thin Belt
This item is on clearance and there are extra rivets or an extra brass quatrefoil mount 4" up from the end of the belt.
If “the clothes make the man” (or woman!), then the accessories make the clothes. Or at least, they help turn them into a proper outfit. Our new belts are available in three styles: plain leather or decorated with either rosette fittings or bar mounts with quatrefoils piercing in a variety of colors. Designed as a balance between authenticity, function and cost, the plain belts are perfect for either a simpler look, or to create a “custom” belt by adding your own fittings. We are particularly proud of the decorative belts, whose fittings are taken directly from very attractive 14th century originals in the Strong Collection. (You can't get better documentation then that!) The plain belts are being offered in black and golden brown, while those with decorative fittings are available in palette of rich jewel tones - black, golden brown, dark brown, red, green, and blue. When you see these belts, we think you'll agree that it was worth the wait, and that these are the finest “off-the-rack” medieval belts you'll find anywhere.
And what better to hang on your new belt than one of our kidney pouches? Based on a common 14th and 15th century design, the brass fittings on the pouch are taken directly from originals in the Strong Collection.
