Plaque Belt- Pewter

This outstanding plaque belt is the pride of our collection! The original was made from brass and was gilt and decorated with niello. English, late 14th or early 15th century. The plaques have been enlarged to 1" high x 1.5" long for aesthetic reasons. When ordering this item measure your waist or hip, where ever you want the belt to sit (in period they were worn low on the hip) to determine how many plaques you need. Add that many plaques to the shopping cart. After placing your order you will receive a confirmation email letting you know when you order is expected to ship. Please note: This is a made to order item and will take about 4 weeks for pewter belts and 6 weeks for brass. Because it is a custom order item it is not returnable.
