Brass Viking/ Anglo- Saxon Plate Buckle

This decorated brass buckle fits a 1/2" wide strap. It has an integral plate and can be affixed to a strap with rivets. It was cast from an original Anglo-Saxon or Norse buckle, found in Yorkshire in our private collection. 1.7 inches long.
